Legend of Mermaid with English Translation~

Nanairo no kaze ni fukarete tooi misaki wo mezashiteta
Yoake mae kikoeta MERODI
Sore wa totemo natsukashii uta
Blown by a wind of seven colours
I was aiming for the faraway peak of the plateau
The melody I heard before the dawn was a nostalgic song

Higashi no sora e to habataku toritachi
Saa, takarajima ni nukeru chikamichi
Those birds flying towards the eastern sky
well , they're taking a shortcut to a treasure island

Nanatsu no umi no rakuen
Arashi no yoru no ato ni wa ai wo tsutaerutame inochi ga mata umareru
Nanatsu no kuni no MERODIA
Daremo ga itsuka wa koko wo tabidatsu hi ga kitemo
Watashi wa wasurenai
The paradise of the Seven Seas
our lives will be reborn so I can communicate my love after the night of the storm
   A melody of seven lands
Even if the day would come when no one else travles here
I will not forget about [the melody]

Yukkuri to kumo wa nagarete nijino hate ni kieteitta
Hoshitachi wa shinju no you ni
Tsuyoi hikari hanachi hajimeru
The clouds slowly fade away for a rainbow to appear
   The stars are like pearls
beginning to release a strong light

Minami no sora kara kikoeru kuchibue
Sou, otona ni naru toki ga kiteita
I can hear a whistling comming from the southern skies
Thats right! The time for me to growup has come

Kiseki wa meguru bouken
Yasashii haha no negai wo mune ni idaki nagara daremo ga tabi wo shiteru
Hoshi furu yoru no FANTAJIA
Afureru namida to inori dare ni mo wakaranai
Mirai wo terashiteru
An adventure to go around a miracle
We all go on a journy while embracing our kind mother's wishes in our hearts
A fantasy of a night with falling stars
   Overflowing tears with a prayer
Illuminates a futrue unknown to us all

Nanatsu no umi no rakuen
Arashi no yoru no ato ni wa ai wo tsutaerutame inochi ga mata umareru
Nanatsu no kuni no MERODIA
Daremo ga itsuka wa koko wo tabidatsu hi ga kitemo
Watashi wa wasurenai
The paradise of the Seven Seas

Mermaid Melody Luchia

Lucia Nanami (七海 るちあ Nanami Ruchia)
Voiced by: Asumi Nakata
Lucia is the Mermaid Princess of the North Pacific Ocean, keeper of the pink pearl, and the main character of the story. She goes up to land to search for her pearl which she used to save a boy seven years ago. She is unaware of the danger in the marine world and of her real mission until she is told of them by her "older sister", Nikora. She is characterized by her simplicity and naïveté, but with having a strong will, typical traits of shōjo manga heroines. Her idol form is Pink Pearl Voice. Of all the mermaids in the series, Lucia's mermaid form and human form contrast the most (Lucia has short dark blonde hair and brown eyes in the surface while having long lighter blonde hair and light blue eyes while at sea).
  • Some fans in the West still spell her name as "Luchia," due to a misunderstanding of the spelling systems of different languages. The Italian name Lucia follows Italian spelling rules, which say that "c" is pronounced as a post-alveolar affricate (the same sound that is written as "ch" in English) when it appears before a front vowel (in this case, "i"). That pronunciation is correctly represented in Japanese kana as るちあ. When attempting to transliterate the kana back into Latin characters, some people, unaware of the Italian spelling of the name, tried using the English "ch" to represent that consonant, resulting in the incorrect spelling "Luchia".
